Halloween Activities

We had a great October and were able to do lots of fun things. Here are a few...

Ashlyn our "Girl Bat" and Tanner our "Tough Elephant" heading out the door for some trick-or-treating action. We went trick-or-treating with the little neighbor girl Crystann. We got the wagon to pull the two little kids around, and it ended up the two little ones pulling Ashlyn around.Look at those cool wings!
I love that Ashlyn has a mind of her own, and such a unique one. My sister asked her back in September what she wanted to be for Halloween and she said right away, "a BAT"! I was a little surprised and wondered where she got that idea. Most 4 year old girls want to be a princess of some sort... not our Ashlyn. She has decided however that next year she wants to be a fairy.
Ashlyn, Crystann, and Tanner after a long, hard night of trick-or-treating.
Our cute little Elephant!

For family night right before Halloween we painted pumpkins. It was nice it was so warm that we could do it outside in shorts.
Once we got the carving tools out Tanner was right on that. He would have nothing to do with a paint brush after that. I don't know what it is about guys and their tools.
We also made Halloween sugar cookies...yummy!
And that is the end of our Halloween fun!

I love the costumes. They both look so adorable! I love Ashlyn's girl bat costume. It fits her perfectly.
