Dear Santa-

Hi, my name is Ashlyn. I have been trying to be a good girl this year. I have tried to be nice to my brother by not hitting him and not rolling him down the stairs. I've tried to be nice to my friends and share my things. I'm also trying to listen to my mom and dad. Please can you bring me a binki and bottle for my baby doll for Christmas. Love, Ashlyn My dear sweet daughter... I love her to pieces! She always knows exactly what she wants, and when she makes her mind up about something she doesn't change it. We explained to her that she can only ask Santa for one thing because he has lots of boys and girls to make presents for. She thought long and hard on this. She looked through every toy magazine and browsed the stores, and she finally decided on a binki and bottle for her baby. I told her it would be okay to ask for a new baby with a binki and bottle and maybe even one that talks.... no way! She doesn't want a new baby because she loves her baby Crystann (named after the little girl next door).

Santa has had to work a miracle for this wish! The doll is one we bought at a garage sale when she was 18 months old so it is about 10 years old and no longer exists in stores, and it takes a special binki! It's a good think Santa's elves are really talented and can make all kinds of toys. I don't think my four year old will disappointed Christmas morning! (I don't know what we did before internet and ebay).
