I had to include our close encounter with the moose. It had been raining pretty good on Sunday and there was a brief break in the rain so Brad and I decided to go for a walk. It was so muddy and slippery we had to run up most of the hills and we had to keep our eyes on the road most of the time (we weren't watching the trees very close). We were just getting back to the cabin and had just commented on how we hadn't seen any animals when my dad came out on the deck to the cabin and said, "we thought you would come up the other road, did you no see that?" I said see what, and I turned around and literally this moose was 5 feet off the road from where we had just passed. His head was turned toward the road watching us. YIKES! Thank goodness he was in a good mood that day because they've been known to be pretty onery up there. I had to run and get my camera to document how close we had gotten (of coarse his head was turned and he was back to eating as I took the picture from the saftey of the cabin.!)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Tanner's hat! He is super cute. Reminds me of when Tre was little and he had a black one of those. I miss it...wonder where it went...
thank you for posting picts so I can see the fam. Kam looks gorgeous at the wedding. Cabin looks so fun, wish I was there. Tanner with Grandma and Grandpa all to himself I am jealous. Can't wait to see you soon.
