Family Fun

Our day started with the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Openhouse. What a beautiful temple, and I love being able to see it every day. The kids loved the tour of the temple. They thought the star lights (chandeliers) were amazing and Tanner loved climbing all the stairs by himself. When we were in the Celestial Room I was talking to Ashlyn about how special it was and I asked her how it made her feel to be there. She answered, "hungry!" I'm glad that talk got through to her. I asked Tanner if he thought the room was pretty and he looks around and yells, "Balls!" The design of the carpet is a bunch of cirlces, so he thought the room was cool because it had balls in it!

After the temple we headed up to Tracey Aviary and Liberty Park.

They loved the peacock and as you can see it wasn't very shy. It just wandered around and showed off every once in awhile. The little rivers at Liberty Park were a hit too. Any time my kids can get wet and dirty they are pretty happy with life!
