This picture to me tells the story of our summer. My kids (for the most part) have become such good buddies! There are two chairs on the patio, but they chose to sit together to eat their lunch. They love playing together, and LOVE the backyard.
This morning Ashlyn got Tanner out of his crib (not sure how I feel about that one, she put a stool up next to it and helped him climb out... not sure I wanted him learning that) but she couldn't wait for me to get him. She helped him get dressed then they played a game they made up called 'dungeon' in his room for awhile. She then helped him with his breakfast (she always gets up at least an hour before him so she had already eaten) and they headed outside to play. I honestly didn't have to do one thing to help them (okay I did insist that I change Tanner's diaper, but don't think she didn't try to do that) they have played for 4 hours by themselves this morning... (hence the reason I am finally updating my blog!) What a great morning!
My two little buddies! Just as I was sitting here blogging I went out to see them snuggling on the couch watching Curious George!

SO CUTE! My kids are best friends too. I love that Ashlyn got him up and dressed so they could play.
I can not wait til my kids become best buddies. Makade just needs to get a littl older! So fun!
