Happy Easter everyone! The Easter Bunny made it to the Gunnell home. Ashlyn is sure she saw his shadow and heard him in the night. We had a nice relaxing day listening to conference, going for a long drive, and I cooked my first Turkey for dinner!
We tried really hard to help the kids understand why we have Easter. I think it gets confusing with the Easter Bunny, but Ashlyn was at least able to understand about Christ being resurrected and some of the real meaning behind Easter. I am truly grateful for my Savior and for the Atonement in my life. And I love listening to conference. It always rejuvinates me and makes me want to be a better person.
