I tried so hard to get a good picture with my kids before church... this was the best out of 14 pictures!
I am so blessed to be a mom! I love my kids dearly- I think it's pretty obvious by the way I talk about them non-stop on this blog!
Ashlyn did extra jobs around the house and earned some money to buy me a Mother's Day present. She put a lot of thought into it and was so excited to wake up Sunday morning and give me my "hot bears" (cinnamon bears) and make me muffins for breakfast. She also practiced her Mother's Day song she sang in Sacrament Meeting all week. It was sweet.
I used to laugh when we would ask my mom what she wanted for Mother's Day or for her birthday and she would say a clean house and no fighting. That really would be the best gift! It seems like a mom's job is never done, not even on Mother's Day. But I wouldn't trade any of it. All the kisses, hugs and smiles make it well worth the work.
Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful women in our lives.

You guys all look adorable! I know what you mean about trying to get a good picture. I can't do it with one kid...doesn't it make you wonder all the more how in the world Jodi gets them?
