Too much Dora??

We ran out of Dora bandaids this week- not good when 3 year olds get about 5 "owies" a day with at least 3 of those meeting the bandaid requirement (must be bleeding)! This morning Ashlyn informed me that we needed to take a trip to Target to get more bandaids because the brown bandaids just weren't cutting it. So we headed out to Target (it doesn't take much to get me to Target). As we were walking into the store I was walking kind of fast- it was cold outside :( and all of a sudden Ashlyn starts yelling at me in Spanish- yes, Spanish. I had no idea what she was saying. She was yelling something that sounded like "spada." I stopped and asked her what she was saying and she looks at me like duh mom, "spada, that means I want you to wait for me."
Another "Spanish" moment. The other day Ashlyn had done some jobs to earn money so I gave her a handful of change. She sat down at the kitchen table to count her money and she counted it all in Spanish- all the way up to 12. Each time I asked her how much money she had she would count it in Spanish. I'd say, "now count it in English" and she'd just laugh and start counting in Spanish again.
This kid LOVES Dora and Diego, but could care less about any of the Disney Princess'. She cracks me up. Since half the U.S. population is speaking spanish now I guess it will be to her advantage that she knows a little right?

This is so funny! Belle has done the same thing. I need to learn spanish so I can understand her. Gotta love Dora!

haha, too funny! BTW she is saying Espera. It means wait in spanish :) Grace says it all the time, but luckily I have an enterprater living at home to tell me what she is saying!

Does Ashlyn call rainbows " Arco Idis"? Grace picked that one up from Dora too.

We need to get together! I have kind of changed my hours at work, so we need to figure something out
