So the time has come to say goodbye to the binkie. Can you believe my baby is 15 months old? Not really a baby anymore! Sunday afternoon I just decided it was time to be done with the binkie. I cut the top off the binkie and gave it to Tanner. He looked at it for a minute, put it in his mouth for 2 seconds and then just handed it back to me and wouldn't touch it after that... how easy was that! He actually did really well without it. He only cried for about 30 min. Sunday night when we put him to bed and then Monday for his nap he cried maybe 3 min. Now it is like he never had it in the first place. Hallelujah!!
He also had his 15 month well-baby-check yesterday. Believe it or not this kid is only in the 4oth percentile for weight, weighing in at 23.5 lbs. Everyone thinks he's a tank, but more than anything he is just tall (31.74 inches, 80th percentile). He is a healthy kid, thankfully no ear infections this time! He is still not walking though (I really wish he would), and he's not talking much, but we're working on that. I can't believe how different boys are from girls! We watched home videos the other night of when Ashlyn was his age and they are night and day different!

Saweet. Binki retiring is not easy, but it sounds like he did fantastic. No I can't beleive Tanner is 15 months old...weren't you just preggo with him last week? Don't wish too hard for him to walk...they are a whole lot faster then and boys are a lot more curious (as in the street). It'll happen soon though
